For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.
"For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life
Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'
We are so glad you have received our gift expressing God’s real and wonderful love for you. It is true! God loves you so much that He gives many gifts to you every day. Health, relationships, a job, a place to live, etc. etc. But He has given something more than that! It is called an unspeakable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:15). It is so amazing and immense that words can not express the value of this gift.
What is this gift? It is His only Son who was God and He became a man. He lived among us for some 30 years and then was rejected for who He claimed to be. He performed many miracles for over 3 years. He controlled nature showing His power over the wind, the sea, and transformed the very makeup of bread and water. Eyewitnesses wrote about these events to help you know the truth of who Jesus really is. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). In these accounts Jesus said He was the One who would raise all men from the dead (John 5:21-29). He said He was the One before Whom all men would give account for their lives (Matthew 7:21-23). He said He was the only way to reach God (John 14:6).
Now either He was telling the truth, or He was mistaken (and thought He was telling the truth), or He lied. You can choose which one you think below.
